Currently, Chery has two series of products, including nine models under Tiggo and Arrizo brands covering SUV and car markets. It’s learned that self-independent brands under Chery have a total sales volume of 36,342 units in June, increasing 20.5% year-on-year. Chery will launch two new models in the latter half of year, including Arrizo 5e and new Tiggo 5.
Arrizo 5, Chery’s first product during its 2.0 transformation period, has a sales volume of 10,174 units in June this year, accounting for 27.9% of the total sales volume. It’s planned that Chery will also launch Arrizo 5e, Tiggo 3xe and new Tiggo 5 before the end of year. The new models will help Chery to increase sales volume.
Chery new Tiggo 5 is expected to be launched in Q3 this year. The new mode is positioned at a compact SUV model based on T1X platform, adopting the new big-mouth grille design. The new Tiggo 5 model has a body size of 4,338*1,830*1,645 mm, with the wheelbase of 2,630mm. It will equip with 1.5T engines with the maximum power of 108 KW. It will equip with 6-speed MT and 6-speed DCT dual-clutch transmission box.
