1. Preparation

Before initiating the operation, ensure the following preparations are completed:

  • Inspect the Tool: Ensure the hydraulic bearing puller and its accessories are intact and free from any loose parts.

  • Clean the Workspace: Ensure the work area is tidy and remove any obstacles that might interfere with the operation.

2. Assembly and Connection

  • Assemble the Puller: Assemble the hydraulic bearing puller correctly according to the manual, ensuring all components are securely connected.

  • Connect Hydraulic Hoses: Properly connect the hydraulic hoses to the hydraulic pump of the puller, ensuring a secure connection.

3. Adjusting Puller Arms

  • Select Appropriate Puller Arms: Choose and adjust the size of the puller arms based on the bearing dimensions. Utilize the provided tools for adjustments.

  • Maintain Balance: While adjusting the puller arms, ensure balance on both sides to avoid uneven force during operation.

4. Operational Steps

  • Position the Puller: Place the hydraulic bearing puller on the equipment from which the bearing needs to be disassembled, ensuring the puller arms are correctly inserted around the bearing.

  • Apply Hydraulic Pressure: Start the hydraulic pump, gradually increasing hydraulic pressure until the bearing begins to move. Ensure the applied force is smooth and even.

  • Monitor the Disassembly Process: Throughout the operation, closely observe the movement of the bearing to ensure effective control of the disassembly process.

5. Maintenance and Storage

  • Regular Inspection: After use, regularly inspect all components of the hydraulic bearing puller to ensure there are no loose or damaged parts.
