Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The spy shots of the Brilliance V9 have been exposed in recent days. The Brilliance V9, sitting above the V7, will be built on the Brilliance M8X platform, using the modular technologies co-developed by Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd and BMW Group.
According to the spy shot exposed, the Brilliance V9 feature is characterized by a strapping shape and adopts the 7-seat layout inside. At the front face, the massive intake grille and headlights endow the vehicle with more masculine feeling. The straight lines flank the vehicle body. Besides, the relatively flat roof ensures sufficient headroom above the back seat.
The spy shots also show that the testing vehicle of the Brilliance V9 carries multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheel rims. The slim taillights sharply contrast with the large-sized headlights. Meanwhile, the rear spoiler boast a multilayer visual effect by adopting many horizontal straight lines from top to bottom.
Inside, the Brilliance V9 looks quite similar to the V7, remaining such configurations as the flat-bottomed steering wheel, large-sized center console display as well as electronic shift lever. The larger body size indicates that the Brilliance V9 will sport more seating space and comfort than that of the Brilliance V7.
The new model is expected to be powered by a 2.0T engine, which may be applied in the Brilliance V7 as the powertrain of its follow-up versions.
